Aspen Wedding Videography /// Darren & Morgan
The drive to Aspen is a beautiful one. Enjoyable. Trying to find a parking spot at the local grocery store… not so much 🙂 I had the privilege of spending a couple days in Aspen for Morgan and Darren’s wedding at the St Regis in town. Driving around town it’s easy to see why people love living here. It’s scenic, quiet and full of beautiful and wealthy people. The homes are tucked in wherever there is room and the restaurants seat patrons in the same manor – wherever there is space. It was a good weekend. My second son was born just before I left on this trip and it was the first time I got a full 8 hours of sleep since we brought him home. I think was one of those weekends where I found myself working with a little more purpose than usual. Having two kids was somehow a much more daunting responsibility than just one and it made me realize just how much rests on my shoulders. And it was this weekend that I made several changes in my approach to filming. Which brings me to Morgan and Darren:
M&D were easy. That’s the best way to describe them. At times they were quiet and reflective… but always upbeat and social. They both have a very good sense of what they want and they pursue it. I have no doubt they will continue to pursue their goals together, and I couldn’t be happier to have been able to help capture their big day. A very special thank you to Paige – Morgan’s sister, who orchestrated our meeting 🙂
