I was introduced to Harry and Jill through Lindsey Dienstbach- a phenomenal wedding planner in Denver who seems to send me only the most awesome couples (or maybe all her couples are awesome). Anyway, we met up at a local coffee shop and it quickly became apparent to me that they were my ideal clients. Intelligent, laid back, with a strong appreciation for hard work and style, they impressed me immediately. I get know my clients through the editing process- not by spending time with them in real life. It may seem odd, but in this case it’s certainly true. Watching and re-watching, studying the mannerisms of these two, and their relationships with each other and their friends and family… I’ve gotten a glimpse into who they really are. They love and are loved. And that’s all you can really ask for.

When I met first met Rosie, she and her fiancé, Russo were unloading boxes of cupcakes and delicious treats at Mile High Station for Chris & JaNelle (check out their video here). The Broncos were playing, and Russo was hurrying to get all the boxes unloaded so he could get back to the truck to listen to the game on the radio. Rosie approached me and asked me a little about my services and then encouraged me to try some of her fantastic desserts. If you’re reading this JaNelle, I promise I only ate like… six or seven cupcakes. Six months later I was filming Rosie & Russo’s super cool Lyons Farmette wedding! I couldn’t be happier for these two. They have a terrific sense of humor (I think they might have laughed their way through the ceremony). And when you’re around them, you can’t help but feel like they are a perfect fit for each other.

I’m so glad I could be in Estes Park to help document Cassandra & Nate’s mountain wedding! These two are super sweet and some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Even though I only live a few hours away, this was my first visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. I’ve lived in Colorado all my life and have traveled around the state- but this place seemed like another country. It was beautiful. I’m grateful to C&N for introducing me to this place and so happy that they’ve solidified their love for one another!

Brian & Dawn say what they’re thinking. It’s unusual, odd… and refreshing. Also, their daughters are hilarious. What else can I say? They tied the knot in front of a packed house at Artwork Network and flooded Santa Fe Boulevard (stopping interstate-detoured traffic of course) for photos afterwards. It was good day.

“The first words he ever said to me were, ‘I want to make a rap music video, and you’re gonna be my thug queen.’ To which I giggled and confusingly replied, ‘Okay!”‘ — This is how Jillian remembers the day she met Michael and after meeting him myself, I’d say that’s probably an accurate account. These two love each other in the most giddy of ways. The way they love is almost child-like. It’s a really honest love, and when you’re around Jillian & Michael even for a short time, you’ll see it. J & M tied the knot in front of family and friends at the Wiens Ranch in Sedalia, CO and we’re so glad we could be a part of their big day! Congratulations to you both!
Creative, smart and interesting. That’s how I’d describe all of my conversations with these two. From the moment we met, they had me thinking more about story and heart than anyone else this year. Though nerdy at times, they have impeccable taste in fashion and design. Their brains are full of interesting facts about science and their hearts are full of love for one another. It’s like science fell in love with style. And it’s perfect!
R & M traveled from NYC to Denver to tie the knot in front of family and friends at the Kevin Taylor Opera House in downtown Denver. We’re so happy we could be a part of their big day! Thank you guys and congratulations!
Believe it or not, I wasn’t the only to help make this day perfect…

]It’s starting to sound old, I know. But I can’t help but say it again. I work with the best couples on the planet! Seriously. Heather & Bryan have wowed me with their kindness. Even on a day that was supposed to be all about them, they made it about everyone. It’s just their personalities. And it’s that kind of love and generosity that makes them so special. Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your day, and congratulations!

I met Nicole & Jordan almost a full year before their wedding! We met at the Cheeky Monk on Colfax for drinks on weekday afternoon. They were eager to get everything planned so they could enjoy the months leading up to the wedding without any stress. We talked for a while about the wedding, their work and of course their beloved dog, Simba! When it comes to animals- I have the biggest heart. And when they told me that Simba would be making a special appearance at the wedding, I knew I needed to be there! I couldn’t be happier for Nicole & Jordan and am so happy they chose FAL to document their big day!
